The North American service covers HDM97Pocket meters. SmartHDM HDU sensors and warranty claims are still handled by IBP in Germany. Sending the right device to the right place avoids delays.

The Process

How to send your meter in

Complete the online form

Fill out the North American IBP Service Form completely for a smoother process.

Add your details

Enter your PO#, RGA#, or Complaint# if available, device type, and 16-digit serial number (on the sticker on the back of the meter).

Print and pack it

Print the completed form and include it inside the package, along with your Mesa Labs quote if you received one.

Ship to Lakewood

Send your meter to the Mesa Labs facility. Submit your PO only after the service form is filled out.

Helpful Reminders

A few things to check

  • Find the device type and serial number on the manufacturer sticker on the back of the meter. 
  • Enter your PO#, RGA#, or Complaint# if you have one. If not, enter N/A.
  • If you have a BQ meter and plan to send your flow sensor, include it on the RGA form to avoid delays.
  • If you do not need the flow sensor calibrated, leave it out of the shipment. All HDM97Pocket sensors received will be calibrated and applicable charges will apply.
  • Print the completed form and include it inside the package.
  • Include your Mesa Labs quote if you received one
